509 A Marquis Who's Who Magazine W ith her artistic abilities and creative mind, Margaret Vigliotta has solidified a career as a secondary school educator, art educator and artist with decades of professional experience. Ms. Vigliotta began her career as an art teacher for profoundly deaf students at Mercy High School in Riverhead, New York, from 1979 to 1985. After leaving the high school, she became an art teacher for Sachem Central School Distinct in Holbrook, New York, serving in that capacity until her retirement in 2007. During her time there, she earned a permanent teacher certification from the state of New York in 1989. Outside of education, she has honed her skills as an artist, creating a memorial. Her principal works include a ceramic advent wreath on a three foot high pedestal and ceramic chalices. Additionally, she has acted as an art education delegate for the U.S. Russia Joint Education Conference in St. Petersburg, Russia, from 2006 through 2008. Though retired, Ms. Vigliotta continues to be an active member of the National Art Education Association. She holds a Bachelor of Education in art from LIU Post and a Master of Arts in liberal arts from Wesleyan University. A ndrew Vince is a chemical engineer and the managing director of Elsa Consulting Group Pty Ltd and Global Separators Pty Ltd. As a chartered engineer with a Bachelor of Science and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Exeter, Dr. Vince has made an impact on his field. During his successful career, he has been a quality improvement manager, senior metallurgical engineer and superintendant of coal processing improvement. Additionally, he serves as an adjunct associate professor at the University of New South Wales. He has received several patents, including one for a method and apparatus for processing particulate material, one for processing aqueous titanium solutions to titanium dioxide pigment, and one for a method and apparatus to determine particle parameter and processor performance in a coal and mineral processing system. Dr. Vince received grants from the Australian Coal Association Research Program in 2003 and 2006, and from 2007 to 2010. He remains active in his field as a fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration. Looking to the future, Dr. Vince hopes to retire and consolidate his two businesses.
