450 MILLENNIUM T hroughout Linneaus C. Dorman’s career, he has utilized his expertise as a chemist to obtain many positions in the field. In 1956, Dr. Dorman honed his skills as a chemist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s North Regional Laboratory serving in that capacity for three years. From 1960 until his retirement in 1994, he made a home at Dow Chemical Company. Never losing the passion to learn, he served as a research chemist from 1960 to 1968, research specialist from 1968 to 1976, and research associate from 1976 to 1983. He was subsequently promoted to associate scientist, and served in that capacity for 10 years before becoming a senior associate scientist. Additionally, he has served as a Lawrence Lecturer at Bradley University, member on the advisory board, as part of the Centurion Society, on the Burgess Award selection committee, as well as on the chemistry department advisory board and community advisory panel of Dow Corning Midland Plant. Throughout his career, he has had many achievements, including being a patentee in the field as well as a contributor of articles to professional journals. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Bradley University and a PhD from Indiana University. M alcolmM. Drummond is a registered professional electrical engineer with over 53 years of experience. His career began as an engineer for Foreign & Commonwealth Office in 1964. He soon began to ascend professionally, obtaining a position as a senior engineer for General Dynamics Corporation from 1966 to 1970 and as a technical representative for Tymshare, Inc. from 1970 to 1972. From 1972 to 2008, Mr. Drummond held several project engineer positions at engineering institutions such as Sybron Corporation, Hampshire Controls Corporation, User Friendly Operating Systems, Inc., Eastman Kodak Company, and ENI/MKS. He earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from City, University of London. Wanting to impart his knowledge to future engineers, he became a professor of electronics at Principia College, a position he has held since 2007. He is the innovator of the tunable multiphase offset DDS and has patents in the field. He is an active member of many engineering organizations, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the IEEEt, the IEEE Computer Society, the Rochester Engineering Society, the Principle Foundation of Western New York, and the American Management Association among many others.
